The Midwest Orchestra Governance Seminar will be led by David Nygren, PhD, an advisor for both Fortune 500 and nonprofit clients, and an expert in governance, leadership, and strategy. Registered participants will be surveyed prior to the event and will have the opportunity to share the challenges or areas of orchestra governance they would like to see included in the seminar.

Examples of topics to be covered include: Elevating Board Performance, Building the Board to Advance the Plan, and Framing Strategic Questions and Processes. The seminar will wrap up with a moderated panel discussion and time for questions.

Who Should Attend?
Board members and executive and development staff from orchestras of all budget sizes. 

Several members from the same orchestra are encouraged to attend as a group. Discounts are available for groups of 2 or more.
