1 in 8 people in our country don’t know where their next meal is coming from. In response to this critical situation, the League is calling on our members to join together for the Orchestras Feeding America National Food Drive on March 27 & 28, 2009 for an unprecedented effort by orchestras across the country.

Inspired by the soon-to-be released film The Soloist (watch trailer here), the League is partnering with Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief organization, to unite our field and become a catalyst for change.

Orchestras Feeding America is part of the Social Action campaign that Participant Media is facilitating for The Soloist.

Making a difference to those in need couldn’t be easier. The League will partner you with a local Feeding America agency and provide ready-to-use materials for organizing your food drive. All you have to do is collect the contributions!

Please take this step with us to help improve the lives of those in your community. Through the power of our numbers, we can make a meaningful difference!
