Each spring, Symphony magazine, the magazine of the League of American Orchestras, publishes a comprehensive listing of late spring, summer, and fall music festivals. When you submit your festival listing for inclusion in the Spring (April) 2014 issue, you make your festival visible to tens of thousands of musicians, conductors, board members, volunteers, orchestral administrative staff, orchestra subscribers, the news media, and many others. And with SymphonyOnline, the League’s free online magazine, your festival listing has the potential to reach thousands of additional readers. Don’t miss this great opportunity to promote your music festival!

Each listing includes a brief 30-word description of the festival, the names of participating artists, ensembles, and conductors, your festival locations, dates, phone/fax numbers, email, and website addresses for those looking to attend, or purchase tickets.

2014 Pops Listing

List your pops attractions in Symphony!

Symphony once again offers the opportunity for artist managers and self-represented artists to list their pops attractions, by genre, in the fall (October) issue of the magazine. This listing includes the name of the artist or attraction, management company, contact e-mail, and website. The listings serve as a reference guide for orchestra decision-makers charged with booking their pops seasons. In addition to inclusion in the magazine, these pops listings will also be included on The Hub, the League’s daily online news aggregator, in early November.

To purchase your Pops Listing please submit our “Pops Listing” form. The pricing for each listing is $100 per basic listing, $50 for each additional genre.

You can also make your pops attractions stand out from the rest by purchasing an expanded pops listing. This expanded listing includes a 30-word description of your artist or attraction, and a headshot or company logo.

In addition, if you purchase an ad in the fall (October) issue of Symphony magazine any artist or group appearing in the ad will be listed in the pops listing free of charge. In order to receive your free listing, your artist must appear in the ad. To purchase an ad in this issue, please use the “Pops Listing (with Ad)” form to reserve your space and submit your listings.

2013 Pops Listing Without Ad Purchase

Symphony once again offers the opportunity for artist managers and self-represented artists to list their pops attractions, by genre, in the fall (October) issue of the magazine. For a nominal charge, the pops listings will include the name of the artist or attraction, their management company, contact email, and website. This listing is a reference guide of sorts for orchestra decision-makers charged with booking their pops seasons. 

You can also make your pops attractions stand out from the rest by purchasing an expanded pops listing for only $200 per attraction. This expanded listing includes a 30-word description of your artist or attraction, and a headshot or company logo. These pops listings will also be included on the League’s website and on The Hub, the League’s daily online newspaper, in early November.

Of course, if you are interested in placing a print advertisement in this issue, your basic pops listings for all artists that appear in your ad will be free. If you are looking for this option, please use our Symphony Pops Listing (With Advertising) form. However, for those that decide not to advertise, you can purchase a listing in this issue by filling out the form below.
