Seminar for New Executive Directors: What You Need to Know Today
You’re a new executive director, in your first year on the job. Not only are you navigating your way as the new CEO, but you are facing today’s challenging economic reality. This seminar will give you the skills to navigate the business of running your orchestra while doing so in a turbulent environment. Participants will explore how orchestras are structured and how they function, as well as what is unique to their culture. You will also be introduced to a number of best practices for working with your board, staff, music director, musicians, donors and community stakeholders during these tough times.
