Orchestra Repertoire Report

In 1970, the League of American Orchestras began to track member orchestras’ programming through its Orchestra Repertoire Report (ORR), in order to answer queries from grantmakers, journalists, musicologists, historians, and member orchestras. The most recent information available is from the 2012-13 season.

Since 2022, the League has partnered with the Institute for Composer Diversity to help ICD produce the Orchestra Repertoire Report, which examines the programming of composers of color, women composers, and living composers by U.S. orchestras in current seasons as well as longitudinal programming trends.

We’re thrilled to again collaborate with the Institute for Composer Diversity for the upcoming 2024 Repertoire Report. There are NO surveys to complete! Simply email your 2023-24 season program in spreadsheet format to ICD Director, Dr. Rob Deemer at rob@composerdiversity.com. See full details on the ICD website.
