Orchestra Repertoire Report

Since 2022, the League has partnered with the Institute for Composer Diversity to help ICD produce the Orchestra Repertoire Report, which examines the programming of composers of color, women composers, and living composers by U.S. orchestras in current seasons as well as longitudinal programming changes. The Orchestra Repertoire Report tracks programming beginning in the 2015-16 season, and includes information on historical trends as well as the current reporting year.

We’re thrilled to again collaborate with the Institute for Composer Diversity for the upcoming 2025 Repertoire Report. There are NO surveys to complete! Simply email your 2024-25 season program in spreadsheet format to ICD Director, Dr. Rob Deemer at rob@composerdiversity.com. See full details on the ICD website.

Orchestra Repertoire Report Archive

In 1970, the League of American Orchestras began to track member orchestras’ programming through its Orchestra Repertoire Report (ORR), in order to answer queries from grantmakers, journalists, musicologists, historians, and member orchestras. Here you can find archive reports from 2000 to 2013.
