Chicago Symphony Orchestra
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra is a musical force in Chicago and around the globe, with an international reputation as one of the world’s best orchestras. The Orchestra enjoys an enviable position in the music world because of its artistic relationships with three of the world’s most prestigious conductors—Bernard Haitink, Pierre Boulez and Riccardo Muti.
CSO Mission Statement:
The central mission of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association is to present classical music through the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to Chicago, national and international audiences.
The mission is supported by four mutually reinforcing elements:
