You might not come from the land of Kurt Cobain or Jimi Hendrix, but there are plenty of exciting options for you to take back home that may never have occurred to you! Learn more about the Seattle Symphony’s wide-ranging artistic partnerships and what they might suggest for your orchestra.

Attendees will walk away with: 1) recommendations for how to dig deeper into better understanding the larger musical ecosystem in your community; 2) creative ways to connect to artists that are new to you; 3) ideas to create artistic partnerships that stretch and engage your orchestra and community.

This session is made possible by the generous support of the Aaron Copland Fund for Music and the Francis Goelet Charitable Lead Trusts.

Elena Dubinets, vice president of artistic planning, Seattle Symphony; Janice Giteck, composer; Richard Karpen, composer; Gabriel Prokofiev, composer; Luis Tinoco, composer; Du Yun, composer
