To support the Greater Miami Youth Symphony Summer Institute. Professional
artists will offer summer music instruction for youth, ages five to 18.
RELATED SUMMER SCHOOLS IN THE ARTS GRANTS
ASCAP Foundation, $35,000
To support Summer Music Camp. Public schools students living in New York
City's five boroughs will receive free classical music training with an
emphasis on increased performance skills.
Walden School, $25,000
To support the Composition Immersion Course. Students, ages nine to 18,
will develop skills in musicianship, music composition, and improvisation,
and finish the five-week summer program by creating music compositions.
