With the challenges currently facing our field, the time is now to come together to inspire and empower ourselves and our communities. The League’s Conference is the key time of year the world of orchestras unites to face the challenges of today and the future.

"The League Conference events are very timely and helpful.  I’m able to take ideas back to the office and apply best practices to my job."

We know that it may be difficult for some orchestras to be represented at Conference this year. To help as much as we can, the League has decided not to implement the advertised increase in the registration rates in February.

Combined with our discounts for multiple group bookings, first and second time attendees, volunteers, small budget orchestras, youth orchestras, and students, this freeze in rates for a fifth year makes Conference a great financial value.

The League is continuing to explore ways it can be helpful to members at this time of economic downturn. In particular, we will be running a session which will see orchestras of all sizes outline the ingenious and creative ideas and strategies they have put into practice with proven, successful results. Areas covered will include:endowment; cash flow management; programming; marketing; development; cost control and planning and communications. This session is not to be missed!
