Washington, D.C. – In anticipation of the new Obama Administration, the League has been working with the broader arts community to develop a slate of recommended actions that the White House and agency officials can take to strengthen support for the arts in communities nationwide. The complete unified statement, signed to-date by 25 national arts organizations, has been presented to President-Elect Obama's transition team and is available below. The League will work in partnership with orchestras to advance the recommendations in the months to come.
